Although we do not have a psychiatrist on staff, we provide psychosomatic medicine services to the extent possible as a primary care physician.
We are unique in that we can provide consultation for both physical and mental disorders at the same time.
We may refer you to a specialist if we are unable to treat you (e.g., if you have strong feelings of hopelessness, manic-depressive instability, schizophrenia, personality disorder, eating disorder, etc.).
Please refer to the Appointments page for precautions to take when making an appointment.
We do not provide workers' compensation certification for mental disorders.
Due to the high number of no-shows and cancellations for initial psychosomatic consultations, a confirmation email will be sent approximately one week prior to your appointment. If we do not receive a reply, we will call you. If we are unable to contact you at least 3 days prior to your appointment, we will cancel your appointment and we will not be able to treat you even if you come on the same day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
